THE OWNERS OF LIBERTY SQUARE

Richard has been a business owner, an appointed government official
and has served as Special Assistant to The President of The University
of Wisconsin System for Economic Development. Pamela is a retired
Executive Vice-President of Alliant Energy of Madison, Wisconsin.
The Wegners have been permanent residents of Door County since 2004
and have owned their home in Jacksonport since 1976, close to the
same place on the shore of Lake Michigan where Richard Wegner’s
family vacationed years ago. Richard and Pamela share the same vision:
“We absolutely love Door County, and we want to do whatever
we can to make a positive contribution to the Door County economy
and to create good jobs for the area.” |

Chris grew up in Oconto, Wisconsin and has been a regular visitor
to Door County since he was a teenager. Prior to his involvement
with Liberty Square, Chris managed the Nathan Nichols & Company
store in Fish Creek. You'll see him around Liberty Square helping
patrons and employees alike and always with a big smile on his face.
