THE OWNERS OF LIBERTY SQUARE

Liberty Square in Egg Harbor, 2009

Four “hands on” owners of Liberty Square with many years of collective experience in the food, hospitality, and retail industry are personally at the business everyday to ensure customer enjoyment and complete satisfaction.

It is often said that you can tell when business owners play a direct role in the day to day operation of the business. There is that extra attention to detail that makes the entire business excellent. Liberty Square’s team of five owners are “hands on” managers who devote their collective experience and skill to provide customers with a wide variety of great eating, drinking, shopping and entertainment experiences. Liberty Square reflects the commitment of its owners to great customer service, very good products and services, and very reasonable and affordable prices.

Opening its doors for business in late 2006, Liberty Square has earned a solid reputation among its customers, and its owners intend to consistently build on this very excellent beginning for the long term through an unwavering commitment to every aspect of customer service. Liberty Square is committed to helping other community organizations raise money for important projects that contribute to the spectacular environment of Door County and its famous arts infrastructure. Come visit us at Liberty Square.

Chris Anderson
is the “public personality” of Liberty Square. Chris loves meeting and greeting customers new and old. Chris is by nature a “people person” and his primary job is making sure that each and every visitor to Liberty Square has a wonderful experience. Chris is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Stout whose hospitality program is respected nation-wide for its excellence. Chris spent a number of years as a star water skier with Sea World before returning to Door County to enter business.

Chris puts the same energy and exuberance into his commitment to customer service at Liberty Square as he devoted to his professional athletic activities. It makes Chris’ day to greet returning customers, many of whom have become friends, and to meet and get to know new customers. Chris would love to see you at Liberty Square. For Chris, visitors are not just customers but potential friends.

Joshua Blevins, who attended Carroll College in music education, and is a practicing musician, finds a perfect way to employ his creativity in his roll as Executive Chef of Liberty Square. Josh is largely a self taught chef, but acquired many skills by working closely with some of the best chefs in Door County; known for its many excellent eating places. The Bistro Bar & Grille, the Board Room, and the Gourmet Deli all benefit from Josh’s culinary expertise and steady production of wonderfully delicious meals that are known for their consistency of quality. Josh never rests on his laurels and is constantly improving his skills and learning new things, by attending seminars and engaging with other chefs, to delight Liberty Square’s customers with great culinary experiences.
